Avatar Size

Post by Glad E Olah on Fri Jan 23, 2015 6:52 pm

Are sizes an important issue for avatars?
Seems as though mine may be too large for this forum.

I use this avatar for a number of forums but for some reason it seems to be overlapping into the posting area. It could be with your settings. It does not bother me but wanted to make sure it would not hide the posts from others' view.

Forum's width is exctly 1004px and mobile versions don't use avatars so there wouldn't be any problems Smile

If we need it, there is a code for automatic Avatar re-sizing available. I believe it is CSS, it also varies by forum verision. May be a good thing to look into. Smile

I know css. I can just put max-height and max-width property and it will automatically resize too big avatars, and don't touch smaller. And it work at all versions Wink

I know it works for all verisions but some slightly coding will need adjustments based on version, some forum versions do not supporr certain codes. Smile

Is this still an issue? If so would you like me to look into a code to automatically re-size the avatars for this type of forum?
